An exciting morning - took delivery of three books from Naomi Symes (www.naomisymes.com).
They are:
"My Life Among the Blue-Jackets" - autobiography of Agnes Weston, founder of the Sailor's Rest.
"A Working Woman's Life" - autobiography of Marianne Farningham, 1834 - 1909
"Personal Reminiscences of a Great Crusade" - Josephine Butler, 19th century social reformer and feminist.
Apart from the subject matter, I love the feel and look of old books. Just wish I had more!
Tonight I'm off to a workshop about blogging and hope I might learn something.
