This morning, the news that 31% of university degree subjects have been cut in England since 2006. With that and fees tripling this year, I'm sad that there's no proper investment in our young people.
I googled Women's Studies and couldn't find a single University with it as a named subject. Maybe it wouldn't matter if we had gained equality but sadly that's not the case and, with the majority of local authority job cuts affecting women and the cutting of working families tax credits to anone working less than 24 hours, it looks like we're going backwards.
